Maker isn't a completed project in the sense that the book isn't ready to be published and the plot hasn't met its finalé. However, I now have a book-in-progress and I can't help but view that itself as an accomplishment. To celebrate the fact that I have STARTED a book, I wanted to share the work that went into it outside of just the writing and what the experience of writing Maker has been like.  "Behind the Scenes" includes:

• handwritten notes paired with a writing journal

• my deliberations over character and world design choices

• chapter structures and focuses

• the original concept and motivation for Maker
